The late Harry Seidler was a powerful architectural voice with internationally acclaimed, award-winning work spanning the decades. Awarded the RAIA Gold Medal and the RIBA's Gold Medal in 1996, he attended Walter Gropius' Master Class together with notaries such as I.M. Pei and Henry Cobb. He later studied with Marcel Breuer and Josef Albers. Seidler was well known for his tenacity in gaining approvals from planning authorities for his houses, which are all architectural triumphs.
